SATURDAY 29th, AFTERNOON – starting at the Pedallers Arms to fix or MOT your bike (arrive about 1.30 for this!) we plan to leave at 2.30pm on an exploration of a revolting Leeds. From the gory history near Marks and… Spencers to rampaging women rebels on Briggate, down to current sites of struggle at Kirkgate Market and Wharf Chambers were the workers have battled gentrification and secret spies!
Your reward for your pedalling is a swift pint at Wharf Chambers (the old Common Place) and then back to the Space for some socialising, chatting and soup. oh, go on, another beer if you want it
EVENING – then onto Wharf Chambers where food will be served from 6 and some fantastic musical entertainment until a new day dawns.
