There’ll be a celebration of cycles in the city centre – get that unloved bike out of the shed, bring it down to donate or to fix up, join in fun, games, and creativity in the name of cycling ☺ .

Throughout the day will be small competitions and activities, the winners of these will be entered into a raffle to win a bike!

This is a bring-a-bike event: bring your old bike, or bring a friend with their bike if they haven’t used it in a while, you can either learn how to fix the bike or it can be donated to Leeds Bike Mill who will repair it and find a good home for it.

Events on the day:

Puncture repair lessons, at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm

Winter-proof your bike! Mudguards and light fitting sessions at 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm (mudguards free on the day)

Drop-in DIY repairs all day

Bikeability – learn to ride with confidence on the roads

Cycle pub quiz – test your bikey knowledge and win some prizes at 5pm

Create some beautiful sculptures with old bike parts

Make a bike-powered smoothie maker

Plenty of cake!
