Monday 4th April

Just to let you know- this coming Monday 4th we’ll be a bit short on volunteers for the first hour or two. This means that we’ll only have a limited number of stands in use and people will have to wait their turn. If you have a particularly tricky problem with your bike or a repair to carry out which you know is going to be complicated/ tricky then you might be better off visiting another day.

The same may well be the case for the following Monday too. Sorry about that!

Thanks for your understanding!

This has just been published by Faber and Faber and Emily will have copies for sale on the night.

We’ll have refreshments available and it’ll be a nice sociable evening. Hope you can make it.

Winter Closing

We will be closing for winter from Dec 18th till Jan 10th. If you need the workshop come down before then or else…

We all live in Leeds and most of us aren’t going anywhere (well, not far) but we decided to have a break and put some more time into tidying the workshop, sorting out jobs. If you’re interested in sorting through parts, labelling things, making signs etc. then your help would be much appreciated and we will reward you with refreshments! Please get in touch if you can lend a hand.

Enjoy the winter holiday!

Birthday Party this Saturday!

As you probably all know by now, this Saturday we’ll be celebrating our 5th birthday!

The first ever Pedallers’ Arms drop-in was on Wednesday 6th October 2010, at The Common Place where our home was for the first 6 months. 5 YEARS AGO! Join us to celebrate this Saturday 3rd October.

First up will be a bike ride. This will be a nice amble along to the Skelton Grange Open Day! Leaving from Pedallers’ at 12 noon we’ll pedal out and join the fun for a few hours. Possibly extending the return journey by cycling somewhere else first…

From 6pm we’ll have some food and drink at the workshop, and we will be screening the documentary Bikes vs Cars! Please bring food to share šŸ™‚

We’ll be collecting donations for the film screening so feel free toĀ contribute but don’t worry if you can’t.

Back open and bike stripping day!

We’re open again from Monday 28th! Back to our usual hours of Monday, Wednesday and ThursdSculpture in Santa Rosa, CAay 4 – 8pm.

AND…we’d like to invite people to join us in stripping bikes! We have a pile of bikes that we need to strip for parts. We will be hosting two stripping days:

Sunday 11th October 10am-6pm and Friday 30th October 9am-5pm, where we will be working through the bikes upstairs to restock the parts bins and make more space!

This is great way to practice bike mechanics without much pressure.Ā Feel free to come along all day or even an hour would be really helpful.

September closing

We’ve had some incredibly busy sessions over the last few months, which is fantastic but we’re all in need of a bit of a rest (and a bit of space and time to do some sorting out). So:

Pedallers’ will be CLOSED from Monday 31st August for 4 weeks, re-opening on Monday 28th September.

But, the good news is that we’re having a PARTY!

Our first ever session was Wednesday 6th October 2010, so this year marks our 5TH BIRTHDAY! And we’re celebrating on SATURDAY 3RD OCTOBER. We haven’t quite worked out what we’ll be doing yet, but please put the date in your diary and check the website/ keep and eye on our Facebook/ Twitter for updates. It will probably involve a bike ride of some description and an evening do.

There’s also a Facebook event

Monster party

Thanks everyone
