The Yorkshire Evening Post ran an article about co-operatives and we were in it, in fact it seemed to only have pictures of us. You can see the article with pictures of some of our mechanics. We are not too sure about the headline….
To let you know Pedallers’ still has two frames for sale. One of our members has kindly put them up on eBay so go and bid for them. It would help make Pedallers’ Arms some cash and clear out the workshop.

So, Leeds City Council are helping build a core cycle network but at Pedallers’ we’d like to dream bigger. From Bicycle Alliance of Washington:
The bicycle lane on Dexter Ave N in Seattle is possibly the most heavily used bike lane on the west coast of America. This is how the Bicycle Alliance of Washington wished it looked.
We’re all excited about getting started again this year.
We’re opening again for normal hours from this Saturday (5th January), that’s Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 4pm while 8pm, and Saturdays 12noon while 4pm.
There will also be a women/trans* session on Sunday 20th January, 12noon until 4pm. They’re usually every third Sunday, but we’ll confirm them individually as we don’t always have people to run them. Contact us if you want to get involved or want more information.
Also here’s what we’re going to be working on in the coming months:
* Structured sessions teaching basic skills, whatever people tell us they want.
* Better, more varied volunteering opportunities.
* A taught wheel building course that we’re making as affordable as possible.
* More bikes for sale.
* Better tool boards.
* Newly redesigned logo and publicity.
We’ll keep you up to date with updates and any changes to the way we’re working.
Late notice but Pedallers’ has a few frames for sale. One of our members has kindly put them up on eBay so go and bid for them. It would help make Pedallers’ Arms some cash and clear out the workshop.

We hope this means that people who struggle to come down on weekday evenings because of other commitments can now enjoy Pedallers’ too!
This month’s installment of Pedallers’ women and trans session on tomorrow, 12 – 5pm. Come down to fix your bike or just to join us in coffee drinking. Let’s help each other sort our bikes out ready for autumn!
