This Sunday 19th we’ll be open 12 – 5pm for our monthly women and
trans bike repair session. Drop by whenever you like. We’re not
focusing on anything in particular this week, so let’s tackle whatever
it is that needs doing to your bike!

Also, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of February we’ll be open to all
12 – 4pm, as part of ‘Come Find Us’- an “open area event celebrating
the actions of creative groups in Mabgate and Sheepscar” more info at

Otherwise, usual opening hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 4 – 8pm.

The Pedallers Arms is a place in Leeds to come and learn how to repair your bike in a friendly atmosphere. We run regular drop-in sessions and other bike related events. We are based on Mabgate Green.

Women & trans bike repair: Gears special

It’s the first women and trans session of the new year this Sunday the 15th. The workshop will be open from 12-5 so pop in with your bike whenever you like. We’ll be doing an intro to adjusting your gears at 1pm.

Winter Closing

Wheels on Sunday 27th

Come one, come all this Sunday 27th of November to our workshop on Mabgate Green for a special session to help us fix wheels that have been donated. If you can service a hub and true a wheel, great. If you can’t yet they we will happily help you but it would be easiest if you came around 1pm so we only have to do the basics once. Then afterwards by using the stand, some patience, and luck we can get the wheels in our wheel rack to stop looking so broken.

We will be in the workshop from 12:30 – 5pm ish, feel free to pop down for a bit of the session. This session is for fixing wheels that have been donated to the Pedallers Arms and isn’t a regular drop-in. Regular drop-in sessions are on every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4-8pm.

Sunday 20th Nov: Women and trans drop-in bike maintenance / BRAKES SPECIAL!

The clocks have gone back and it’s reet cold and wet. Extra important that your brakes are in good working order to see you through the wintery months.

The drop in session will be happening as normal from 12-5pm but this month we”ll be running an extra special session on fixing and maintaining your brakes. This will be happening at 1pm.

PEDALLERS ARMS MONTHLY WOMEN AND TRANS SESSION
For women, trans, queers and anyone who’d prefer a non-macho environment in which to get greasy. Come and sort your brakes, patch your tube or just smell the lovely bikey smells. We’re not experts but we know a fair bit between us and we have tools, space, books and time for you. This will be a regular event, running on the 3rd Sunday of the month. If you’ve got ideas to make it work well, would like to volunteer with this or our weekday sessions please get in touch on info@pedallers-arms.org

Revolutionary Bike Ride

If fixing and riding your bike, drinking a beer and supporting co ops or finding out more about the secret history of rebel Leeds have EVER been on your list of things to do for a Saturday…read on.

SATURDAY 29th, AFTERNOON – starting at the Pedallers Arms to fix or MOT your bike (arrive about 1.30 for this!) we plan to leave at 2.30pm on an exploration of a revolting Leeds. From the gory history near Marks and… Spencers to rampaging women rebels on Briggate, down to current sites of struggle at Kirkgate Market and Wharf Chambers were the workers have battled gentrification and secret spies!
Your reward for your pedalling is a swift pint at Wharf Chambers (the old Common Place) and then back to the Space for some socialising, chatting and soup. oh, go on, another beer if you want it

EVENING – then onto Wharf Chambers where food will be served from 6 and some fantastic musical entertainment until a new day dawns.
